JAPANEASE ANTIQUE TANTO DAGGER.

A very attractive silver gilt tanto dagger. The handle is beautifully engraved with floral decoration and also a bird in flight. The blade is in mint condition and it measures 17cm. The scabbard has matching engraved floral decoration with two flying birds and it is also mounted with the design of an animals head which is probably a Japanese family mon. Size 10 inches or 26cm. Slight handerling wear to the gilt finish but other than that near mint condition.
