RAD OFFICERS DAGGER BY HELBIG COMPLETE WITH HANGERS.

Fine detail to eagles head hilt and crossguard which is decorated with wheatsheaf and swastika design and still retains much silver finish. The white celluloid grip plates are in perfect condition. The blade is in very nice condition with just some slight age marks but over all this is still a very nice blade, the obverse side of the blade is etched with the RAD motto ARBEIT ADELT, the reverse side is maker marked, Helbig Steinbach which is a rare maker for RAD daggers and I believe this it is the 1st example by this maker I have owned. Complete with a very nice set of brown leather RAD officers hangers, there is a tiny old field repair to one of the suspension clips but it still works perfectly, it could easily be replaced but there is no reason really to do that. A very nice looking officers set by a rare maker. Exc++
