Fine detail to the metal hilt fittings with fine detail to the Luftwaffe eagle. Very attractive orange grip with one tiny chip close to the pommel, but is so tiny it is hardly worth mentioning, please see photographs. Near mint plain blade. The scabbard is very interesting, the obverse and reverse sides are considerably flatter than normal which is makers trait that I have seen a number of times before, the reverse side of the scabbard is also engraved with the original owners name in large letters, REGULAR, the engraving is very impressive and obviously applied to the scabbard by a jeweller. A very nice dagger. Exc++
