DUTCH AIRFORCE OFFICERS DAGGER, 1964 MODEL.

A very difficult dagger find and which was produced by Eickhorn. All gilt metal hilt fittings, the Royal crown pommel is highly detailed, the eagle crossguard is art deco in appearance. The grip is black celluloid and it is in mint condition. The plain blade is in mint condition, the reverse side features the Eickhorn Solingen stamped small oval trademark which is normally considered to date from the early 1930's but apparently they must have re-introduced it for this model dagger. The leather scabbard is complete with matching gilt fittings. Near mint.
