RAD DAGGER BY KREBS WITH UNUSUAL LEATHER SCABBARD.

This is a very early RAD dagger produced in nickel silver. The hilt fittings are in fine condition and has a nice age patina as it has not been cleaned in many years. The beautiful stag horn grip is in mint condition. The blade is very impressive, the obverse side features the RAD motto, ARBEIT ADELT, and the reverse side is marked, RADJ in a triangle, Ges Gesch and then the makers name, Carl Jul Krebs Solingen, there are a few age marks to the blade but over all it is still very nice and bright. Complete with matching scabbard which is very unusual as the scabbard shell has been covered in fine quality black leather and looks really impressive, the seam is on the reverse side and has been cleverly concealed and it is style / method I have seen before on SA and RAD daggers, the fittings are matching nickel silver, the lower fitting has a very small dent to the side but it cannot be seen when on display and could easily be removed if required.
