WW1 GERMAN DEMAG FIGHTING KNIFE.

This scarce German fighting knife is often referred to as the crank handle because of the shape of the grip, the knife has a bayonet fitting so it can be used as a fighting knife but it can also be attached to a K98 rifle so it can be used as a bayonet. The hilt still retains at least 90% original olive green paint and the bayonet fitting is still in perfect working order. The blade is still very bright and it has a good defined crossgrain to it, the obverse side is stamped DEMAG DUISBURG and the reverse side is stamped, GESETZLICH GESHUTZT. Black anodised scabbard is in excellent condition and it is fitted with a black leather belt loop and grip retaining strap which is excellent condition. Exc++
