IMPERIAL GERMAN 1871 MODEL BAYONET.

Strictly speaking this is actually not a bayonet as it does not have a bayonet slot, it is actually a sidearm. Brass hilt with ribbing to just the obverse side of the grip, the reverse side is plain. The brass crossguard is issue stamped on the reverse side, 11.H.10.33. Plain steel blade shows some wear and use but it is still in excellent condition. Size 22 inches or 56cm long. No scabbard available. Exc+
