Steel hilt, the rifle slot is still in good working order. The brown wooden grip plates are in perfect condition. The blade is in excellent condition and has various makers marks, Remington factory stamp, US mark and it is also dated 1917. Complete with metal scabbard with matching steel fittings and complete with metal belt hanger. Exc++
