ARMY OFFICERS TRUPPENSONDERDIENST OFFICERS PEAK CAP.

A rare army officers peak cap of the Truppensonderdienst or TSD which was an army supply / transport service formed in 1944 and mainly for high grade and specialist officials. Field grey wool top with dark green centre band and mid blue piping for the TSD. Complete with metal army eagle, bullion cockade and silver bullion chin cords which are held in place by two silver buttons. Grey silk lining with factory cross hatching complete with celluloid patch with makers details, MARKE ODD (Otto Dittman Dresden). The sweat band is in perfect condition. This is one of the harder branch colours to find and missing from most collections. A couple of insignificant moth nips but the hat is still in near mint condition.
