Although we see the State service flag frequently you seldom see the car pennant offered for sale and this one is an especially high quality example for a high ranking officer. Double sided triangular car pennant produced red cotton with hand embroidered state eagle and embroidered large black swastika on a white circle, all parts are separately applied and embroidered. The pennant is fitted with two metal car pole fittings. Complete with original and matching triangular foul weather cover, constructed in clear celluloid with red leather borders, the end flap is fitted with five popper buttons which are all in working order. The obverse side of the cover is in perfect condition but the reverse side of the cover has several parts of the celluloid missing or cracked but it is amazing that it has even survived as they are almost always missing.
