POLITICAL LEADER PEAK CAP FOR AN ORTGRUPPENLEITER.

This is the 1939 model political leaders peak cap. Brown woollen top with dark brown velvet centre band and blue piping for an Ortsgruppe level political leader (local group leader). Complete with gilt eagle, large gilt oakleaf cockade with swastika enamel badge and gold cap cords which are held in place by two gilt side buttons. There is some minor moth nips from the blue piping and also a couple of minor stains to the top of the hat. The interior features a pale gold silk lining with plain celluloid patch, the brown leather sweat band is also in perfect condition and there is an RZM label to the underside. A very nice looking political leaders peaked cap in very nice condition and far better than most. Exc++
