The cover of the soldbuch features large SS runes, the ID book contains 28 pages and many with various official entry's and stamps concerning the officers service with the SS. The inside cover of the book features a magnificent photograph of the original owner wearing SS officers field gray tunic, with SS officers runic and rank collar patches clearly visible and wearing officers shoulder straps, you really could not wish for a better photograph. The Soldbuch belonged to SS Untersturmfuhrer Rudolf Clousun who served with SS economic department involved with the exploitation of the East, he was born on the 20.6.1906 , the soldbuch was issued to him on the 9th of April 1941, on the 18.8.41 he received the additional official title of Sonderfuhrer showing that he was a qualified specialist, he served with several SS units working in the economics sector in the east (Russia) including, Wehrwirtschafts Inspecition ZBD, Der Tr Arzt EJR 52, SS E.Batl Ost, these units served in Russia and they were part of the SS Economic inspection who's job was to exploit Russia for German gain which would include transferring raw materials back to Germany, establishing agriculture, repairing or establishing factory's, road and railway construction, protecting and restoring oil and mining production, to name but a few and all of which would benefit Germany.
