This award was instituted on the 26.1.1942 by the NSFK Korpsfuhrer Christiansen and this example is the much more desirable award type with issue number rather than the more common private purchase type which do not feature an issue number.Silver oval oakleaf badge featuring the NSFK winged man design and three white enamel birds in flight, the enamel being in perfect condition with just a tiny spot of slight discoloration of the bottom bird.The reverse side of the badge features pin and hook and it is also marked, EIGENTUM DES NS-FLIEGERKORPS GES GES GESCH 29240 and the issue number of the badge 881.
