HERMANN GORING PORCELAIN PLATE.

This porcelain plate is from a large dinner set presented to Reichmarshall Hermann Goring on his 50th birthday in 1943 almost certainly by the Italian fascist leader Benito Mussolini. Pale blue almost white porcelain plate with a gold and blue border and featuring a large dark blue oval medallion with the Reichmarshalls insignia of a gold open wing eagle and swastika with crossed batons.The reverse side features the makers stamp for Richard Ginori, this Italian company was established in 1763 and it is still in business today.
