THIRD REICH DAF STANDARD FROM VILLAGE OF DAMLIN.

A very nice large DAF district flag. Red field with white circle with black cogwheel and swastika, silver fringe to three sides and with brown corner box with blue Ortsgruppe border and with chain stitched letters, DEMLIN. Complete with seven metal suspension rings (one dented) for attachment to a flag pole and which are nice to find as often these metal rings are missing. Demlin is a small village in what was Pomerania it had a population of only a few hundred so this would certainly be the only DAF standard for the village, when the European borders were changed in 1945 Demlin became a part of Poland. The flag is in remarkably good condition with just a few minor moth nips but no damage or staining, a really nice impressive example. [Condition: Near Mint]
