MINT UNISSUED THIRD REICH POLICE SHAKO WITH ORIGINAL MAKER MARKED BOX.
This is an amazing Third Reich police enlisted mans shako helmet and it is certainly the best i have ever seen, the shako is in mint unissued condition but what makes it extra special is that it is complete with it's original cardboard storage / issue box and which is printed with makers details which matches the makers name to the inside of the helmet. Green cloth shako helmet with black leather visor and top, complete with helmet plate, chin strap and detachable metal cockade. The interior features a mint condition brown leather sweat band with drew string attached but never fitted, the crown of the shako has full makers details for, Hans Romer Neu - Ulm (Donau). The helmet is basically in mint unissued condition .The cardboard storage box is an amazing survivor and it is the first one i have owned or seen in over 30 years, the lid of the cardboard box is printed in large black letters, ROMER with the trade mark of a Warriors head wearing an ancient helmet. This is an amazing police shako expensive but i doubt if there is a better one in existence and the ultimate collectible for the police or headdress collector.[Condition: Mint]
