An interesting pair that were originally exported to Ireland and both have stamped matching Irish registration numbers. Turn of barrels measuring just under 2 inches long and each stamped with a matching Irish registration number.The lock plate is nicely engraved with standards and arms with makers name, Smith London.The flint locks of both pistols are in good working order, pulling back the lock releases the concealed trigger. Both pistols are fitted with sliding safety catch.Slab sided wooden buts with finely chequered backs and both fitted with a plain silver escutcheon. A very nice pair of matching pistols, circa 1800.
