MINT UNISSUED SA DAGGER BY HENCKELS WITH ORIGINAL ISSUE TAG AND PAPER BAG.
This exceptional example of an unisued SA dagger is from the famous Barry Brown collection. Mint brown wood grip complete with SA grip insignia and silver frosted aluminum eagle, attached to the upper part of the grip is a paper RZM dagger issue tag which is maker marked, M7/1O which is the RZM code for Henckels. The silver platting to the crossguards and pommel nut is 99% still remaining which is amazing condition for a very late RZM period dagger. Mint blade, the obverse side features the SA motto and the reverse side the makers details, RZM M7/10 1941 which as stated above is the makers code for Henckels.The brown scabbard paint is 100% remaining and the matching silver platted fittings are about 99% remaining. Attached to the scabbard is the original SA brown leather hanger which is RZM marked and also in mint condition. Complete with original brown paper issue bag, the bag is printed in large black letters, SA DOLCH, J.A.HENCKELS ZWILLINGSWERK SOLINGEN, with there twins trade mark, the bag shows age as you would expect for an original example but basically it is still in very good condition.
